Rohingya families stranded in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh are struggling to raise their children in limbo.
Forced to flee genocide in Myanmar, more than 500,000 Rohingya children and their families now live in what has become the world's largest refugee settlement. Conditions are challenging in the congested camps — and sometimes dangerous. And, now that monsoon season has begun, they face new threats as heavy rains and flooding destroy shelters and the infrastructure that over 900,000 people rely upon for their basic needs.
Since the crisis began, UNICEF has been on the ground, working to protect children from violence, disease and malnutrition, and help them learn so they don’t fall too far behind.
With your support, UNICEF can continue that important work and deliver the lifesaving assistance Rohingya children so desperately need.
